Hearing her reasons, I smiled and reached her hand and told her that “gymnastics is not a game.” She didn’t believed me. So, I did enrolled her to Mrs. Noris’ gymnastics class.

For weeks, the word gymnastics was never brought up in our house, which made me decide to visit one of her sessions during my break. There, I saw how she was pleasantly performing and using the handspring trainers in doing her stunt. She knows too well how to use those handspring trainers despite how small and delicate her hands are. She’s amazing.

After years of training, Geraldine has brought so many medals from Olympic events and have brought glory to USA. Her first training with that handspring trainers were but her tiny steps to reach her destiny. I am so proud of her.
